Kathy Barnes is a Certified Public Accountant with 38 years of public accounting experience providing accounting, auditing, tax, consulting and tax resolution services for businesses and individuals. Kathy has significant experience in accounting services and corporate and individual taxation. Kathy graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Chemistry. She received a Master of Professional Accounting from Georgia State University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is active in her community and currently serves on several not-for-profit boards of directors including, The WellStar Hospital Regional Health Board, the Douglas County Hospital Authority and the Douglas County Boys & Girls Club. She is an active member of her church where she plays clarinet in her church orchestra.
