About Us
T. Dennis Connally married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Carnes, in 1957. Elaine taught school while Dennis continued his education at Emory University, Atlanta, GA where he graduated with a BBA degree in 1962. After graduation, Dennis became the Controller of an International Garment Manufacturing Company. After making a career and lifelong friendships at the manufacturing company, Dennis then went on to form a partnership with Marvin Pechter and operated as Connally, Pechter and Company CPAs in the Vinings area of Atlanta for 20 years. Connally, Pechter and Company CPAs grew to 80 employees with a branch office in Conyers, GA.
In 1989, Dennis and Elaine moved back home to Douglasville and T. Dennis Connally Consultant P.C. opened its doors on Main Street (presently known as Broad Street). It speaks volumes about his character that many of the Connally Pechter clients decided to travel those extra miles to Douglasville to continue their business with Dennis. T. Dennis Connally Consultant P.C. relocated to the current location in the historic building at 8483 Campbellton Street on May 5, 1990.
Dennis brought in a young intern from the University of West Georgia in March of 2013. In a time when accounting firms were taking on unpaid interns, Dennis, a man who understood the value of hard work and dedication to his trade, insisted that everyone who worked for him deserved compensation. After graduation, the intern, Andrew Jordan, went to work for the State of Georgia as an auditor, until he and his wife decided to move home to Douglasville.
Fast forward to January 2017, Andrew became his partner, and the name of the company was officially changed to Connally, Jordan & Associates, P.C. Dennis continued working passionately and served his clients and community well until his passing on March 24, 2023. Dennis cultivated a culture of professionalism and his legacy is carried on through the firm by our team of proficient CPAs and accountants that he assembled.

Bio: Andrew Jordan began his accounting career when he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major in 2013 from the University of West Georgia. He graduated at the top of his class with a 3.91 GPA, as a recipient of the Summa Cum Laude honor, a 4-year recipient of the Dean’s List recognition, and a 4-year recipient of the Hope Scholarship. Upon graduation, he audited colleges and school boards for the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts, but later determined that his passion was helping people and small businesses. He sat for his Certified Public Accountant exams concurrently with the acquisition of his Master of Science in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Once his credentials were completed, he partnered with T. Dennis Connally to establish the premier Certified Public Accounting firm that handles individual and business tax preparation, tax planning, and complex tax resolution services.

Bio: Kathy Barnes is a Certified Public Accountant with 38 years of public accounting experience providing accounting, auditing, tax, consulting and tax resolution services for businesses and individuals. Kathy has significant experience in accounting services and corporate and individual taxation. Kathy graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Chemistry. She received a Master of Professional Accounting from Georgia State University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is active in her community and currently serves on several not-for-profit boards of directors including, The WellStar Hospital Regional Health Board, the Douglas County Hospital Authority and the Douglas County Boys & Girls Club. She is an active member of her church where she plays clarinet in her church orchestra.

Bio: Cameron Carder received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 2018 from LaGrange College. Shortly after graduating from his undergraduate program, he joined the Connally, Jordan & Associates, P.C. team in July of 2018. While performing accounting and bookkeeping work full-time, Cameron continued his education at Keller Graduate School of Management and received his Master’s in Accountancy and Financial Management in 2020. With the education requirements met, Cameron was able to sit for his Certified Public Accountant exam. In July of 2021, Cameron earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant for the state of Georgia.

Bio: Leslie Craft has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. She graduated from Clark University in Massachusetts with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and obtained her Master’s in Taxation degree from Bentley College in Massachusetts. Leslie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). Before joining the Connally, Jordan & Associates team in June 2022, she was a sole practitioner CPA in Douglasville, GA for 26 years.

Bio: Logan Morris received his Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major in 2020 from the University of West Georgia. As a recipient of the Summa Cum Laude honor and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, Logan also achieved being on the President’s list and Dean’s list and graduated with a 3.97 GPA. After graduation, Logan enrolled in the graduate program at the University of West Georgia, where he also obtained a Masters’s degree in accounting. Logan joined the Connally, Jordan & Associates team in January of 2021, where he built on his accounting experience while preparing to become a CPA. In June of 2023, Logan received his Certified Public Accountant license for the State of Georgia.

Bio: Donna K. Clifton is an Enrolled Agent (EA), a federally-authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals. Specializing in individual income taxes for the past 13 years, Donna serves as the Tax Manager for our CPA firm and oversees all individual income tax matters. She has a passion for working with people, helping people, and solving problems. Donna’s experience and education have enabled her to develop an understanding of the Internal Revenue Service’s examination and collection processes.

Bio: Sarah Ingman has been a Douglas County resident since 1991 and joined the firm in 2007. At Connally, Jordan & Associates, Sarah is proficient in the preparation of sales tax, payroll and is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with significant experience in accounting and bookkeeping. As a married mother of two and a grandmother to one perfect grandson, Sarah enjoys hobbies outside of the office such as beekeeping and traveling.

Bio: Stephanie Parson is the Office Manager at Connally, Jordan & Associates and joined the firm in 2015. She has over 20 years of experience as a licensed insurance agent and received her Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2005. Stephanie’s vast experience in client relations and broad background in customer service provide a solid foundation for her position as the firm’s office manager. She oversees the day-to-day administrative functions and goes above and beyond to ensure all aspects of the firm operations run smoothly. Outside of the office, she is very family-oriented and enjoys spending time with them as well as picking up a good book to read.

Bio: Emily Jordan White is a Staff Accountant at Connally, Jordan & Associates and joined the team at the beginning of 2021. With several years of bookkeeping experience under her belt, she specializes in maintaining monthly and quarterly books for our clients. In addition, Emily has 12 years of previous experience working in the healthcare industry which has provided a solid foundation for excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and client relations. Outside of the office, Emily is a mother to three wonderful children and cherishes spending time with her family.

Bio: Lea is the Tax Coordinator at Connally, Jordan & Associates. She joined the firm in 2015 as the receptionist and quickly began assuming more responsibility, while demonstrating her unique organizing, data flow and people skills. She currently coordinates the office flow of all tax returns, business, individual, estate, trust, and more, from receiving client information to the final tax return delivery to our clients. Her attention to detail and her knowledge of the many aspects of firm administration and data flow also allow her to use her talents in other areas. Away from the office, Lea loves spending time with her husband and family, which includes a special new edition, her baby daughter, Paisley Grace.

Bio: Heather Hicks received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of West Georgia in 2020. She has 8 years of broad customer service experience in the retail, banking, and veterinary fields. Heather joined the Connally, Jordan & Associates team in 2020 as the firm’s receptionist and made her transition into doing what she is passionate about which is creating digital media content for the firm. In conjunction with digital marketing, she assists with the day-to-day administrative operations at the office. When away from the office, Heather enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her two dogs, two cats, and amazon lilac-crowned parrot.
